Since I haven’t done this in a while (and I have a lot of catching up to do on this meme), I’m going to do ten facts.
Also, this is going to be a weekend post – Raving Roundup time! 😛
#31 I really love watching thrillers/scary movies/horrors. I can’t explain why, though. I think it’s because I love the rush I get from being scared[1. Being scared on my own terms, that is – and having the ability to stop that fear.]. However, I don’t always enjoy a movie from this genre. I go through phases, and it’s usually every winter. During this phase, I can watch anything from this category of movies/films and not have nightmares or even be spooked at all. It doesn’t matter how gruesome it is. My record is ten movies in one day on a Saturday. It’s like I can’t get enough of them. And when the phase is over for the year, I’m done. It’s like it’s all I could take. I do find some really good thrillers I enjoy, though – and I wouldn’t mind seeing some of those (if not all) again sometime.
#32 Winter is my favorite season. I love it when it’s cold. Of course, if it becomes too cold, I’m not exactly up for all of that. But when it’s cool enough to open the windows and feel the breeze as the wind blows through the window screens, it’s wonderful. I also love the smell of the cool air. It’s so pleasant.
#33 I don’t really like beef. I mostly like chicken and turkey. Beef and pork isn’t really what I enjoy eating. They always make me feel bloated afterward. As for bacon, I love turkey bacon! 😉 See? I’ve got it all figured out when it comes to that! 😛
#34 I’m known to carry on a joke for too long. You know those people that keep bringing up said joke that was only funny for five minutes? Yeah. That’s me. It’s honestly not intentional. I just enjoy remembering things and laughing about what was funny sometimes. And sometimes, I’ll remember something I once laughed about, and I will realize it wasn’t all that funny. In most cases, it was quite a mean joke, and laughing at it was really cruel – that’s when I become ashamed of myself.
#35 My mom’s awesome, and I love her very much. I talk about her a lot on my blogs, and if you’ve been reading my blogs for a while, then you should know by now how much she really means to me. /heart
#36 I have a horrid lip-biting habit I also grind my teeth at night. I bite my lips the most at night. It isn’t my fault I can’t control my behaviors and actions in my sleep. I mean, if I could, then I would be having lucid dreams every night – duh! 8)
#37 While we’re on the talk about dreams, I have weird dreams. If I kept a dream journal, I would be able to piece them together and work around each one to make it into a horror – and still have some room for some comedy in said thriller. /brainstorm
#38 I can usually look at an image and know the size of it right off the bat. 300×300 pixels? Of course it is. Yeah… I don’t know if that’s a huge thanks to all the resizing of photos I have done, the owning and maintaining a website (and being in that online environment) or because I sometimes (usually) think in pictures.
#39 I am easily annoyed. Honestly. Girls annoy me much more than a bored me annoys a not-so-bored me. And trust me, me can be more annoying than you. Maybe. Possibly. Most likely. Also, if I don’t like you already, then chances of me ever liking you are probably slim[2. Okay, so I’m a bit negative toward girls, but so what? Besides, it isn’t toward all girls. I’m not going to explain “why”. That’s just stupid.].
#40 I prefer to make friends with guys more than girls. To be more exact, I’ll correct myself: I prefer to befriend males more than females. It’s just so much easier to confide in a guy, because he will most likely cheer me up more. Females tend to be more emotional. I’m not saying I’m never that way; I just don’t enjoy being near people who annoy me and/or are just like me. I’m not a drag racer; I don’t enjoy dragging things out. Also, confrontation? Yeah, if I say no, then don’t go there.
I hope you enjoyed these. I’ll work on next week’s ten. I’d really like to finish this meme before the end of the year. 😛
Can you believe the last time I did this thing was early July?
